DH was telling me that his colleague told him about the way she discipline her 2 boys... one of them was also a \" hard nut \" to crack.. not to mention his academic... He always gets D in his primary school and his colleague told her DS \" Mummy soon will have no place to stay in the house\" , \" why \" asked her son puzzled ? \" caused you always bring 'Donkey' home for mummy ! next time, can you try to bring a smaller animal like cat ? I am not expecting you brings a 'Ant' home but please dun bring anymore \" Donkey' least ' Elephant' ! :rotflmao:
her son suddenly \" 开窍“ in sec 3 ... so his colleague say, kids will never stay \" naughty\" or \" hard nut\" forever... so you need to have a lot of patient and effort to educate them... -
Yep..patience is the key word here...
how many adults out there behave worse than kids??!! -
Sometimes I am close to breaking down when DS is naughty plus the presence of grandma that is not the least helping with the situation......... :gloomy:
Comforting to be here that we all face almost similar problems together..........

Next year I should have more time on hand when DS goes P1…have to think of what to do when DS is at school…

Over at HK, after conversion is abt $60 - $70 or lower if there is promotion.
I am currently doing PV at MTS, lots of students uses this as school bag. I had already got one for my DS.

Dorisp, not worries. There is lots of opportunities around. Just need to bump into it at the right time and place. I am infact getting my DH to re-look into a trade which allows more time, more income and more time through knowledge sharing.dorisp:
I am also out of action for 6 years. Thought of finding a job when DS goes P1 but am afraid it could be difficult to find a suitable one ............. :sad:
Dun worry dorisp, i am sure you will be able to find a suitable one when the times come...
As singapore goverment always welcome SAHM to come back to the workforce...
I actually on the opp... thinking to becoming SAHM when DS1 goes to P1 lor... :? but i am the running around type so not sure whether can get used to just staying a home and face 4 walls when the kids are at school lor :scratchhead: -

I totally understand...I usually get home in the evenings and handle my housework too...Its usually a mad rush...Im always exhausted too..in fact, thats the reason Im looking for alternatives. Afterall, looking at the smile and laughter of our DS / DD, will always brightens our evening up. Especially when they suddenly come out with words or praise or attempt to help in our daily chores.
hi, i was really hoping that i can do away with maid since she gone home last friday but my body did not allow me... I like the idea that the kids will be more independent when there is no maid as during the maids period, the kids will always order the maid around to help them with the chores even though i have told them that the maid is not there to do these for them...crystalbelle:
