LOL yeah…now as parents we are tired teaching the homework our children bring home!! so much to do…work and school homework plus bills and what nots!! eeek!

Dorisp, agree with you. Our parents and PIL can be a pain in the butt when we are teaching our DS / DD when they are in a wrong.

This is the toughest to handle i feel. handling our children is easier compared to handling our parents and PIL. Ive always had them interfering in my style of discipline...I used to get maaaad at them...but Ive learnt to ignore PIL (cos no point explaining to them) and explained to my parents. however, ive realised over time that when they do see the way my children behave and handle situations..they know that it was eventually the groundwork done by me..so they stop questioning all tat i do...but ignorance is bliss... just gotta keep ignoring all those comments.[/quote]Agreed with you. Afterall parents and PIL always forget that we are going through what they had went through when teaching us. But they are excellent in pampering their grandchildrens..

Exactly! My own Mother treats me (during my childhood) so differently as compared to how she behaves now as a grandma. There are so many times I wish I could tell her to allow me to decipline my child my way but it is so hard to do it as I didn't want her to be unhappy. :gloomy:

so busy in the whole week.no time to on the computer.I check and reply some posts through my iphone.but I can't pm.What a tiring week.

for the discipline,kids remember whatever we said and their expectation we should follow the rules.I told to my DD,when I asked in English u have to reply in English.One or two days later, I reply something to her in my MT.She questioned me \"why u didn't reply in English?\" :faint: .We have to be a student in the school.We need a lot of sacrifice for them.It will be paid off.They are in the learning phase now.So we guide them properly.I agree with u all as I mentioned it before.If we keep our promises they will trust us.This is very helpful in discipline.Make the work easy.

Haha..i so agree with you smartmummy..I do the same...I speak eng..you speak eng..i speak in MT you speak in MT...however im very guilty of forgetting and using eng for convenience!!!

Hi Club 2006, anyone DS / DD pursuing music? Piano, violin, organ??


I am thinking to switch my DS out of Yamaha JMC, his class size of 11 shrink to 6. Also lots of trouble maker in the class. Thinking of switching him to violin, wondering which centre or teacher is good.
