I am indecisive of where to enrol for my DS in 2013. Maris Stella or Taonan?

Retired Paternal grandparents - stay with 1 km of Maris Stella.
DH & my address register with paternal grandparents.

Retired Maternal grandparents - stay within 1km of Tao Nan.
We are the HKHK member since 2007.

If i choose Maris Stella, i will belong to the 2C phrase.
If choose TaoNan, i will belong to 2B phrase.
What are my chances for both choices?

i thought if you use caregiveer's address, even if you are within 1km, you are considered 1-2km? For Taonan, i think you will be considered 1-2 km and in this case, i dun think you will be given a recommendation letter even though u might be long time member cos i understand for phrase 2b for taonan, all balloting done for <1km

Thank you for your reply...
In fact, we are residing at both addresses. So if we offically change address to Marine Parade, HKHK will issue us a letter based on our new address... that's what they say.
But what do you think? I heard lots on TN but Maris Stella nothing... is MS good? Can you or anyone share with me?

Since it’s 2 different phases, and you are ok with living at either place, go for Tao Nan in 2B. Failing that, then go for Maris Stella in 2C.

Hahaha.... that didnt cross my mind at all... hahaha!!
If we fail to suceed in the balloting of TN in 2B, can we try again in 2C at TN? since the bal vacant seats go 50% to 2B & 50% to 2C.... Sorry cos am still confused with the 2B, 2C & 2C supplement...

one thing i left out, will we be able to change our address to Maris Stella for 2C again?
Maybe i shud get the paternal grandparent to make a statutory declaration at the MOE Customer Service Centre so i can use their address to be eligible for Phase 2C. Wat do you think?

so do you stay at either of the grandparents home? or only registered address? if not staying at grandparents' home, shouldnt you be registering under the 1-2km bracket?

yes, on weekends, stay with paternal. Weekdays at maternal side.

Yes you can apply at P2C again if you fail in P2B. However, competition will be keener in P2C. Please bear this in mind.
