本报记者询问是否因为嫖妓案被调查，名校校长低头看地板，没否认涉案。

本报昨日报道，有多名高级公务员，涉嫌通过网络找辣妹进行性交易，目前正在接受警方的调查。被调查的高级公务员来自不同部门，当中包括本地一所著名学校的校长。

这名校长被指现年30来岁，已婚，他于去年底辞去教职。

事件曝光后，本报记者多方打听、探访，尝试联络校长，包括打手机、到他位于中部一所豪华公寓的住家外等他，一直到昨天傍晚终于见到校长。

记者昨天傍晚7时30分左右，成功在校长的住家外拦截到他和一名相信是妻子的女子。校长穿了一件深蓝色上衣和黄褐色长裤，那名女子则穿白色T－恤和黑色短裤。

记者上前询问他在去年12月忽然辞职是否与涉及嫖妓案有关，校长不正面回答，既不承认也不否认，一直看地板，神情凝重但相当冷静，然后要求记者离开。

该名女郎也一言不发地站在他身边。两人之后就匆匆搭乘电梯离开。

名校校长、高官涉嫖案延烧，许多家长对满口“礼义廉耻”的名校校长设嫖妓而离职大感震惊。此外本报探知，涉案者包括助理警监、高级警官、银行家、商人和民权运动活跃分子等等。但据律师指出，根据本地法律，嫖妓、卖淫都无罪，除非是跟18岁以下未成年男女有性交易，或涉及当街拉客、“男男”性行为，才触犯刑事罪。当然啦，法律上无罪，不等于道德上清白。人人心中都有一把尺。
