      Hi Janet,

Does your dd bring back home all her English and Math worksheets to revise for the coming tests? Wondering why my dd still haven't bring back as the tests are nearer :nailbite: and nothing bring back yet :yikes:. Really don't know how to revise without worksheets 🤷.
      :thankyou:

      Hi Berry,
The teacher will ask the class to bring home the Eng & Math files to revise. She forgot to do so yest. For CL test, it will on Chap 1-4. She is having 听写 for Chap 3 today. Asked her teacher what will be tested for 'Synthesis'...she told me all those done in P1 as well as those that will be taught in P2 before the assessment.

      Hi Janet,
:yikes: P1 synthesis also will be tested that would be alot. Btw do u know the exact date for Math topical test.
      :thankyou:

        Essential:

HShome , dun worry about planning the transport. First you must be able to register and secure the seat. U are registering in which phase? Last year I was nervous like u. It's glad that we able to get our gal in IJ

        Hi Essential

I will be entering under alumni (old girl) so should be no problem entering. However because I am staying in Punggol, hence would like to know what's the bus route for Punggol children. Might so lucky like my neighbour's kid that goes to rgps and is the last to be picked up so timing to wake up and time on the bus is not that long. If timing to wake up and time on the bus is too long then would like to consider buying another car. Hence my request to know the bus contact.

Also any feedback on the school dentist? Gentle and nice?

It's a dental nurse who attends to them. She can do basic cleaning and patch cavities. But she's not a dentist so can miss out some things. The service is good enough if your daughter has fairly healthy teeth already. If she's prone to cavities (like my daughter, whose teeth are cramped because of her small mouth), I'd say go to a dentist.

Regarding transport. It would be hard for the bus driver to tell you now what the timing would be like in your year. They normally organise things only after the girls on their buses are booked.

You could try asking if any IJ parent lives around you and do a car pool. I know of girls in the same estate or area going home together this way. Sometimes the mothers take turns. The IJ family is quite big. 😉 You might be able to find someone in your vicinity.

          Hi Beanstalk,

Thanks for your advise. It’s really helpful.

Yup would be great to car pool if possible. How do I reach out to those staying in Punggol and don’t mind carpool?

There are 30 to be learnt...but she has up to Sun to learn 20 words first. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

                    HI Mummies,

The Math review is held today.
Just last night, my daughter was getting the 2 step word problems (HW) done…asked her if the review includes drawing models. She told me YES.
So I accompanied her to get the problem sums done and hubby did the models with her.

Asked my daughter how the math review went...she told me there wasn't any at all. So this weekend, hubby will revise 2 step prob with her again. But she has to learn the spelling for Wed test as well and ting xie for Mon. :faint:
This weekend is definitely burnt !
