Results for CCA this year is disgusting. I entered Infocomm which I did not actually wanted. It was actually like this:
My friend and I went for the CCA Debate Auditions, and the teacher showed lots of interest in both of us. I was overjoyed as I though it was a confirm get-in. She even asked for our names and classes and index number. She further asked if we had any experience. Since my friend represented her old school before and I participated in inter-class debates, went for Oratical Competitions and was in the Debate team till P6. (Quit cuz of PSLE), we thought the chances would shoot up sky high.
Sadly, that audition wasn’t counted as official. Its like dashing our hopes when you have lifted them so high at first.
I actually found out from the CCA head that I got into Infocomm because of my Robotics backgrounds. Infocomm is like kinda quiet, but I like talking. ALOT. Its pretty unfair, I think. People might want to try a new skill.
So my friend and I are appealing out of our disappointing CCAs to ELDDS(debate). We really hope we can get in. -

Hi
May i knw what is the id and pin required to access cedar @library ? is it the student’s birth cert number? I have tried but its not successful. My DD was not given one, does she need to apply for one ?
Thanks -
Now that the Maths and Geography textbook for Sec.1 are downloaded to their laptop. I wonder do they still required to bring along their physical textbook to school? Well, with the laptop and all the books, it’s definitely too heavy a bag or two for the girls.

They can leave them in the school lockers just in case! Usually, the teachers don't refer to the math textbooks to teach, they just use the school notes. Its alright to leave the math textbook at home because the teachers only use the textbooks to give math homework from there. -
Thank you for the info.

I remember during the Open House, the past years papers are available in the library (must pay of course), and I wonder are they avaiable online too?
