DD is turning 15mths soon, but we noticed she has bad breath same like adult's.

Especially when she hasn't opened her mouth or eat/drink something for long time.
And in the morning, when she wakes up, she get morning breath too.. :siam:
Is there any way to get rid of her bad breath?
I thought babies generally don't get bad breath...

Apart from drinking water, you can try using mouth wipes specially formulated to clean baby's mouth after every meal.

In fact, I think there toothbrushes for babies. Perhaps you can take a trip down to Kiddy Palace and have a look. I recall seeing them there.

          😄

But she only has 2 teeth and both are not even fully grown yet.

One 75% grown and the other maybe 25~50% grown.
            Are toothbrushes necessary?

DD doesn’t like to open her mouth to anything else other than food.
She clams up tight whenever I try to put my finger in her mouth.
Don’t even know whether can even try to put toothbrush or mouth wipes in her mouth at all…

when DS was a toothless baby, DS’s ped actually advised us to brush his gum.

there is a baby tooth brush that is like a rubber finger puppet with some bristles at the top, that slips over our fore-finger.

But already she doesn't open her mouth to anyone's fingers, don't think she'll open up to rubber finger with bristles..

I heard some people say brushing tongue helps to get rid of bad breath as well, but that is for adults.
Will it be same case for babies?

I saw Pigeon has those brushes with rubber bristles, from Stage 1 to 3.
                Should I get a Stage 1?

Yes, you should get stage 1 for a start.

Okay… then still need to brush tongue? Or just gums?

And how many times a day?

Well, I managed to get a toothbrush set comprising of 2 toothbrushes (1 with rubber bristles, 1 normal bristles) and a tonger cleaner.

However, as expected, DD simply wouldn’t open her mouth no matter what…
                      sigh…

Get a Barney VCD about brushing and cleaning (or get from Youtube) or read a book about brushing your teeth. Show her how you brush your own teeth.
