I havent been here for a long time, hello how is everyone ??

My ex-classmate sent me a note via FB yest to enquire about the PV interviewing process. She has been shortlisted to be interviewed for PV work and is worried about the questions they would ask. Her child was borned in 2005.
What is more important are parents' questions to school.

Ask the principal if there are enuf PV assignments to go around..

One good example is Southview Pri at CCK, the school hv taken in many PV, but hardly any assignments to go around..
There are parents who stil clock zero hour since Jul..

        Hi Parents...

        Give Up Mummy reporting here....

Dun you tink is NOT fair that even you stay within 1KM you still required to ballot !!!!
Then what is the point of Priority given for those staying one KM?

Can't PV coz i need to work and look after TWO kids....no maid or any in laws to help???

I kind of give up on all these as i stay within 1KM of Pei Hwa and after reading all the balloting histories ...Is all pure luck...U get it happy lah but IF NOT too bad lor then my kids would have to try LUCK again on the next nearby neighbourhood area....no luck again then go to the NOBODY WANTS Sch !!! Sure CAN....
        Hi lims,

I do know that schools have excursions or activities on weekends.
Or help out in CCAs conducted on weekends.
Or eg. coach if you are good at a certain sports.
You can clock more hours faster by going for these outings.

I have two neighbours. No choice die die must ballot as
choice school is way way out of where we stay. But 2009 seemed
to be a specially lucky year, and they got their child in!

So, don't despair, Good Luck to you! :ugogirl:

            Hello,
            Fyi...
NYPS principal is leaving, it's now transition period..
With two weeks left b4 school holidays, the priority is different..
Depends on the new principal style..

I know of 2 parents attended the PVG interview last Fri in our girls' school. It was last than 10min and was conducted by ex-P and PVG chairperson. Not like my time by SAB, it was so stressful. 🙏

My interview was by the ex-P and PVG chairperson too. Who is SAB??

                    All,

I will be completed my 40hours volunteer works by this week. May I know what type of "letter" or "certificate" i can receive from the school for P1 registration in phase 2B?

Normally the school would give you a letter of certificate indicated that you have completed the40 hours of PV.

Hi, I'm a newbie here. Just wondering if it's too late to sign up to be a PV if I need to register next year for the P1 2011 intake???

                        :?:
