Hi,
Can I check if Andrew Er Kovan is good for preschool math?
Seems that its v hard to get in for Pri 1 math…Not sure if I should start off my gal with pre school math to grow with the school.
I am not able to find their website, is there any?

Wow, Seems like Mr Andrew Er is still so popular. I first met him like 20 years back , He was my form teacher back than. His way of teaching maths is great. It is not just about numbers , he will make it interesting but yet tricky. I remember my results are usually around the 60+ range but after he took over my class from mid of P4 i have shown great improvements and got a A* in PSLE .

My p3 girl started at Andrew er learning centre in dec 2011. Recently we decided to pull her out from class. She told me she didn’t enjoy the lesson as her female teacher is quite fierce. I have seen the practice papers and I must say the questions are well set. But note that teaching is not done by Andrew er himself. At the end of day if my girl didn’t enjoy the lesson I don’t see the point in continuing the class. Besides the location is also quite out of the way and lesson falls on a weekday. Think I will pop by the popular bookshop and look for Andrew er books to get my girl to do.

But somebody shared that the worksheets in the centre is different from the one that you can get from the bookshop. -
May I know whether Andrew Er teaches at Kovan? Do they have PSLE preparation class & what is the cost?
