Why? You did not go when it was 50%?

Take it as save money 😄

I went thrice and ended up with damages. Now new shelf is a MUST…I do love the fittings at page one, very woody.

Pity they are closing. Anything our chenghu can do to stop landlords from extracting every pound of juice from their lessees? How come they cannot mandate that each mall of x size must have ?% devoted to cultural or educational shops? [grumble grumble mumble mumble]

The consumers must also have reading culture and support buying books at regular prices 😂 If most people waiting for 50% -70% discount before grabbing a lot of books, how can bookstores survive? :rotflmao:

Actually it is not only happening in Singapore, the brick and mortar bookstores in China are also suffering with consumers buying more from online stores which are offering more discount and free delivery to home / office.

Oh.. when is popular fair? only saw this from Popular website (free $5 voucher for $80 spent) 2-18 Mar 2012 https://www.popular.com.sg/jsp/index.jsp

hmm actually when buying assessment books, im no fan of any particular publisher and will get from various publishers like marshall cavendish, longman and eph. Prefer marshall cavendish more though since they publish most textbooks in schools, so should be more aligned to MOE curriculum & eph is my next preferred.
