My son's shoes are getting smelly, he had no such problem before but just recently with school shoe. Not sure if is because of the material of the school shoes or socks. Any parent has the same headache? Can you share how to remove the odor of the smelly shoes? Thank you!

Should be the socks. Everyday must change my son's socks. Very smelly. My girl, two days then changed. Additional way Buy 2 shoes then.(To wear alternately and in case rainy days) Put out the shoe under the sun everyday. Change socks everday and dry the shoe under the sun. Hope this will solve your problems.

My DD1 will change the socks everyday... ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thank you sc88. I change my son's socks everyday. I will probably buy 2 shoes so the next day can put out one under the sun. Thanks for the suggestions ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for the suggestions :)[/quote]Hi, i washed and sun my girl's school shoes every weekend or every 2 weeks and socks are changed daily. In fact i bought 2 pairs of shoes and 5 pairs of socks. To me i find unhygenic leh to wear school socks every 2 days cos of the hot weather they tend to perspire. School shoes i washed every sat and suns them on sat and sun afternoon. mostly by sunday afternoon, the shoes are dry but my girl will wear the other shoes so alternative the wearing of 2 shoes

Want to ask too about the donation card. i am quite out of touch already but do we need to fill up all the columns of the names? i heard from frens for other schools that if submit a blank one or simply a few dollars, the teachers will pass sacarstic remarks. For nan chiau, is it okay to just submit simply a small amount says $20 or so cos paiseh to ask neighbours or relatives to donate loh

We need to indicate the amount and the name. I think the card indicate not to solicit from the public.
so usually we just do it among the family mambers.
Never heard abt sacarstic remarks from NCPS teachers. My gal teacher told them is ok even if they give a few cents.
                Dun worry abt the amount.

i know cannot solicit from the public but we are very close to our neighbours and their children used to give us the donation card to donate too. But we are trying not to give our neighbours and family members to donate loh so thinking just us giving about $20 and put in a few names.

At least feel assured that it is okay cos my fren mentioned her girl's school one of her girl's classmates got it from teacher when the amount not as much. i personally encountered that when i was in secondary school and it happened to my classmate and boy it was quite nasty

No problem w small amount or little names. Wish the card was given before cny like the last time so that ds will hv a chance to ask from close relatives. We made 3 donations/funfair tix for nieces this cny. Haโ€ฆ

Please note that there r 2 collection dates so a second card will b given, if I rem correctly.
