Haha - mine plays a lot already. Only 3yrs old. How to pack their days? I'd be tired too!!! I do like to bring him to the park, beach, cycling, take MRT/LRT, etc.

Haiyo Phankao, haven't you heard of those kids who have so many classes? One of my colleagues' kid was like that. Everyday go cc, then every night has enrichment classes. Only one weekday night no class but that's homework day! Saturday has 3 back to back classes, with a 2 hr lunch break in between. Sunday morning has swimming and then evening has abacus class.

While her son definitely gets to go all the classes that I hope my kid has a chance to go, I think I want my child to sleep more and play more.

I'm not sure how that is workable for a 3yo, lor. Maybe I'm an \"old\" mummy.... not so energetic to send here and there. My boy's 3 lessons already quite a lot to me. haha! Totals 2.75hrs/week for \"enrichment\", other than his 3hrs/day preschool.

That kid I had mentioned was six at that time. But really, to me, it does not matter the kid is six or three. That is just too much. That colleague and her hubby was in thir mid 30s, not very young either.

Did u all load ur kids wif alot or few enrichment classes?

I jz started to enrol my gal to art class. want her to get independent... 1st lesson, cried. Argh... then tell me dun wan to go anymore. But i intend to be \"heartless\", will still bring her there. Hope she can adapt to new environments...

My DS2 has been attending shichida class for 2 yrs and just started him on chinese enrichment class this yr.

Hello mummies,

My dd2 is a dec 08 baby.
She’s just started 3 hourly nursery program this year n has no other enrichment program. I try to read with her nightly n that’s about all that is done. All her other waking hours are for play, but no TV nor hand held gadgets.

Still 10years younger lor. ;D A lot of difference. In my mid-30s, I could handle a multitude of projects and still raring to go past midnight!

Ur boy learns piano/violin. That's nice! Parent can go in? Ur boy is in the solo lesson, not group kind is it?

I tot even 1-1 lesson, parent aso can't go in...

He's 3yo, of course parent can go in. And yes, it's 1-to-1.

Mine play, watch tv, read books to them, on bed I must tell story b4 they sleep. ONI last 2 wks, I started my DD on art class once a wk.

I wouldn't want to pack my kids too many classes, though at age of 3-6, they're best at absorbing the knowledge. But I still wan my kids to hv enuff rest, outdoor activites under the sun...
