There is an Amara sanutory or something in sentosa … Nice boutique hotel … Usually couples go there for spa

Kinda FYI, if you can make it in a weekday, express pass ain’t necessary. Weekend try to get express pass.

I think express pass is necessary for school holidays even on weekdays. As my family went there on Thursday. Some Qs took more than an hour. They never check our bag though we did bring some bread along. As per their website, bottle drinks are allowed so we did bring our own water. But still need to purchase as not sufficient to quench my thirst. 😉

Go there before they open. And then when the gates are open, go for the most popular rides first.

                Hi

I like to check any parents interested to visit USS from Mar 26-28 (Mon-Wed).
I bought the 3D2N WOW $588 package recently but would like to change to another date.
As it's a package, date cannot be changed. It comes with:
1)Two-nights stay at Hard Rock Hotel Deluxe Room
2)One-day Pass to Universal Studios Singapore® for Two (Mar 27 ONLY)
3)Complimentary Universal Studios Singapore® Souvenir for Two
                4)Resorts World™ Sentosa Gift Voucher worth $50

If you are interested, pls send pm me.

                :thankyou:

                  Hi,

I am bringing my P1 to USS this thursday.

Are there any rides/ shows that we must prioritise when we are there? Being KS, I wanted to plan ahead.

It’s going to be just the 2 of us. So we will be skipping those thrilling rides as even though she meets the height limit, I don’t think I will let her do it now without the risk of nightmares.

This will come too late for you MMM but here are my experiences to share. The highlights of my USS trip with my kids…

The names of the attractions may not be entirely accurate, been some time… We got the express passes as we went during the school hols. Only got them after queuing 50 min for the 1st ride… Decided that express passes would make our lives a lot easier! Definitely worth it 'cos queuing with little ones in S’pore weather is not fun.

All the sections will have some kid friendly options, but here is my own ranking, in order of how I think my kids enjoyed themselves,

1)I think little girls will really enjoy Shrek’s castle… All the attractions. The 4d show was fun. We met Shrek and had our photos taken with him…Don’t miss even donkey’s show… Very cute…

                    2) Madagascar is pretty near the entrance and when we went, we went on the boat ride and carousel like 3 times. Nearer to closing time, the Madagascar rides were very quiet, so we went once when reached, and twice when it was near closing time. The ride can be quite boring for adults after a while but kids can take repetition. My dd got bored after 2 rounds but my ds, who’s much younger kept asking to go again!

3)My dd loved the water ride in the lost world (dinosaur) but can be a little scary as there were parts when it was dark and there was also a t-rex. I think she mostly enjoyed getting wet! You do need a change of clothes cos of potential to get wet! But your girl, at p1 may not fulfill height requirement… The lost world has this kid friendly dinosaur ride where they can control the height of flying dinos. There was a man holding a baby Dino puppet walking around and he totally enchanted the kids! The puppet was v.realistic and my kids were asking him where they could buy a pet Dino… Haha…

4)Do not go for the revenge of the mummies ride! I won’t recommend it for young children… Really scary… There is a kid friendly ride where they ride little Jeeps through some desert landscape. Actors in stilts can look intimidating for young kids…

                    5) The Hollywood section has this special effects show that was quite interesting for my dd… like a behind the scenes type of thing…

                    6) The scifi place where the scariest roller coaster rides are, isn’t terribly interesting for kids… There was this ride that is a modification of those nausea-inducing teacup rides from amusement parks from way back when…

                    Hth!
