Questions, questions, questions:
- why is there no contractual obligations for him to complete his "A"s in RV, RV spent $ to go to china to recruit right?
- RV’s an IP school, no O levels, so how did this chap get into RJC? DSA?

I don’t understand this. How did he get into RJC? If he has some special talents, then he should qualify for Yr 3 DSA into RJC. The only explanation I can think of is Raffles does not spend $ to go China to recruit scholars. So RV saved him a lot of trouble and $ by bringing him in.
