My son's school does not rank the classes the tradtional way. They place the top classes in the middle...and label them discreetly as \"high ability\" classes.

Yes, they are call high ability class... but strange arrangement for your DS school to place high ability class in the middle πŸ˜›

Yes P4 GEP is like honeymoon ... but P5 GEP - SA2 must score above 85% overall for our child to use result to apply DSA. PS: P6 GEP SA1 result also vimportant.

Hi, I suppose you are a GEPer parent???

yap..same to my son.. the 27 of them from his school who qualified to go for the selection tests were all from the top class. :!: and 7 qualified for gep: 5 accepted gep offer and 2 remained in the mainstream πŸ˜„

Is your son from a SAP school in P3?

            yes! πŸ˜„ is a mix(boy+girl) school

Is it true that most of the kids who got admitted to GEP are those who top their classes in Pr 1 and 2?

For my kid’s school, there are two top classes. Those make it into gep are all from these two classes.

Some info gathered from my friends for last year (with student selected into gep): Nan Yang-30; RGPS-18;Tao Nan-18; Catholic-7
