But if you can only get the chance to volunteer for recess duty which is 1 or 2 hours a day that means going to the school 20 times. Is anyone seriously going to give up all their leave for a whole year?

Can take time off. MC also can use.

Not really a very responsible or practical suggestion 😉 I think your boss might be suspicious if you are only every sick on a certain day of the week and never during the school holidays![/quote]

I didn't PV for your info. Some bosses are kind to give time off. For MC, for those desperate cases if they burst their annual leave, I believe some may abuse it.

PV is Just ridiculous la…take leave to pv? leave is better to use it for more worthwhile things.

Most parents grudgingly are forced to pv due to their own ‘motives’. It is not out of free will. Also, not every parent can afford the time to do pv u know? They got other better things to do. So Parent volunteer is not a good idea at all.

It isn't worth loosing your job over such silly PV. It is not worth it.

I am proud to see my daughter in the same uniform I once wore...it's great to see her continue the tradition and legacy too.
Boy, now I regret how glad I was to discard my old primary school uniform. At least I would get a feel of how its like seeing my girl in the same uniform. 😆

One got in, after that the 2nd & 3rd child in Phase 1. To him, it is worth it. Some people feel that children's education (headstart in good school) is more important than bursting 1 year's of annual leave They go all out to improve their chance.

You gotta be kidding...his children will go to primary schools which are known.

when I did PV, I went to the school for 80 mornings in 40 weeks, twice a school week, 30min each time to ensure traffic flow is smooth and children get across the road safely.

Can you imagine doing stuff like watering plants, painting school murals, help out during sports day, helping school to stack tables/chairs to move to temporary location ? This is under Phase 2B. Schools get to benefit and parents get to chalk up hours. If parents are willing, then nobody can object. They are serving the school.

As for HSK’s kids or even grandkids, I believe they won’t be attending neighborhood schools. Don’t you agree ?

combine 2A1 and 2A2, just call it 2A.

make 2A compulsory clock up alumni activities - then nobody can have the chance to attack and say you're sleeping member, you shouldn't enjoy this privilege ? let 2A stand alone.
                        siblings exempted.
