*Catholics/Christians/Buddhists/Muslims/Hindus can pray real hard they will get into their Catholic/Christian/Buddhist/Muslim/Hindu school at phase 2. If you succeed, God is great. If not, God has other plans for you.
      .

      Ok, bring on the comments/suggestions/criticism!
:rotflmao: :rotflmao: no disrespect, but it's funny and I quite agree. In my case God meant that DS shouldn't go to another school, couple that with parents' laziness to move house.

Oops, I forgot to add the disclaimer: No offence intended to anyone. I'm Catholic and I pray really, really hard but sometimes, God has other plans for me. I'm just assuming everyone else is the same! 😄

It worked for us, leh. So far, we've always done it that way. We believe that if cannot get in, means God does not intend for it to be that way. Yes, pray, but never pray really really really hard, though. 😜

The church & clan schools are classed as government-aided which means that they are only 90% funded by the government. The rest has to be obtained through fund-raising.

90% funded by govt......oic. where did u get this info?

3Boys, you're probably going to flame me for seeing too much into politics - anyhow, a thought came to me and I've shared this on the other thread:

how old is Heng Swee Keat ?

if he married like 5 yrs ago, most likely his child also enrol for P1 soon.
i suppose his child can go to any school in SG he choose.
He is 49yrs old (or 50yrs old now) with 2 children, don't know how old. Quite likely already in pri or even sec school already.

From what I remember from P1 orientation the ongoing costs are all covered by the government but it only pays 90% of the cost for new buildings and facilities.
