You received the email from the FT? He said he can't meet us for the PTM on 10 Mar and will call us personally to talk about our child's progress. I thought a meetup will be better, so have asked him if you could arrange an alternate date for us.

DD1 FT nv email me anything abt the PTM...
10 Mar is for all P1 Class or only 1G?

i have checked my email. the FT mentioned that he will be busy on that day so need to change another day but didnt mention when. will just wait for him to arrange.

by the way, after the orientation havnt met the FT....my dd says he can be very fierce! Scold students v loud! didnt match the ist impression he has given me.

once i forgot to sign on the diary, he made my dd stand up in class. i tot that was a bit harsh. :yikes:[/quote] :yikes: omg...
U must be feel guilty as ur DD help u to be punished as u forgot to sign...
        :spank:

Not too sure too. Thought the PTM is sometime in May until the FT wrote email to us.

DD1 bring back her revision on Maths Review 2009 (Mock Test) on Fri.

She got 13/20. Very careless in Problem Sum.
1B class highest is 20/20 and Average is 13/20.
So i think is nt bad for her.
Hope she can do well on Tuesday.. 🙏
Wow, how you know the highest is 20/20?

Yes, my DS also can be quite careless too. Just revised with him on 1 question on Thur evening (didn't know there was a mock test on Fri), and he can get it (similar question) wrong. :slapshead:

Anyway, he replied that he could only meet us on weekdays morning or evening (6.30 - 7pm).

Huh?? Really?? Sometimes, I forgot to sign too. Oh no. My DS never tell me about this. That's too harsh on the children... I must go back and ask my DS about it. Thought he is a very gentle teacher... :nailbite:

I asked my DS yesterday. He said if the children whose parents have signed will stand up and a sticker, then those did not sign will stand up too but no stickers. If collect enough stickers, can exchange a gift from FT.

I asked him if FT got punished him for standing in class, he said no. Don't know what he told me correct or not cos he doesn't really understand standing in class is a punishment. :slapshead:

I registered but didn't attend cos my MIL was hospitalised. What tips you learnt?

                      oh, that is interesting.

my dd didnt mention stickers. kids that age still cant give 100% complete infor. sometimes we adults also miss out information… we do daydreaming too, .

maybe the standing up is not meant to be punishment… just that those who didnt get signature feel bad naturally.

The 1st session covers the 7 gifts in a child/adult. How to identify the gifts and nurture it. To build up a child’s self esteem and confidence. This help parents to understand the child better and nt to impose unrealistic expectation on them.

e.g some parents missed out the chance to learn piano, so they make the child learns (not considering if the child likes it or gifted in it). very miserable for the child… force learn sometime not interested.

you r going this coming sat? u r attending the chinese or english? may be we can meet up…

ha ha.. ya, maybe you are right... Anyway, now it's good that your DD will automatically ask you to sign her work instead of you rummaging her bag. That's probably the teacher's intention.

Thanks for sharing. 😉 Not sure if I can go since I didn't attend the 1st session. BTW, I've registered for the English session.
