Tks Hiaweh, assuming the maid was with us like 14 years back, will her work permit no. still remain the same today if she comes back to another employer?

So we can still check if agents dont reveal the no. of houses the maid was transfered, am i right?

Due to privacy issue, I don't think u can find out.

cant we use our singpass and her workpermit no to check, I tot I read somewhere that the w/p no remains the same and can check whether shes in spore
No - it will reflect her current WP too but not the info of current employer. This is how I realised she is back since last Nov, after leaving us in Sept (telling us she wants to go back to her 2 sons, even we offered to increase $

Well, just know that she likely paid thousands to get that bit of salary increment. As long as she is happy....

Basically, they are not very rational people. Even those who are not happy with employer also suka-suka ask for transfer, although they know that they have to pay the agency 1-2 months of their salary to find them a new employer. And on top of that still wanna choose employer.

As long as they are happy, $$$ doesnโ€™t matter.

just found out my ex-maid who left a big bag of clothes with us returned SIN last Nov to work for someone else...

No you cannot find the employer name however if the maid has come through any agency then it will be listed in her details when you login via singpass so you can contact the agency and if they feel ok they might give more details. However if she came by herself then finding who the employer is quite tough.

LKVM, I will try to find her via x-agent in Singapore. Usually maid back to hometown, their local agencies will look for them.

She left that big bag of clothes with me, thinking to keep it for 6 months then donate to salvation army; now knowing she is back, scare one day she call and want to claim them back :faint:

One of my prev maid also left the bag and I kept for some time later donated it. When I came to know she is back I contacted her and told her I have donated her bag and she was fine with it....

Did you check what's inside like any valuable things before donating out? Seriously I am not comfortable to 'dig' someone's bag/things not belonging to me

Thats the problem I faced too cause I didnt wanna open but then before she left she said its only few clothes and she will be coming back however later she didnt come and i had no choice but to give... tough decision... My other way was to give to the agent but agent told since she said only clothes i may open and donate. U can check with your agent also?
Spoke to agent, she said we've been v kind to keep for 6 months lol! and she said I've done my part to find ways to contact ex-maid's sis, who worked in SIN; so juz go ahead to donate or pass to new maid if the clothes suits her ๐Ÿ†’ but of course, good to check if there's any valuable thing in the bag.

Anyone has experience processing home leave for pinoy maids who have worked with you for less than 2 years?

It seems that the Philippines embassy is very "unfriendly" for such cases.
