Well weather here is hot and humid most of the year. Do prepare for rain and sun any time. Marine Barrage is near Marina MRT station (not really walking distance)

There is a free shuttle bus that goes there from the train station if you don't intend to drive there. Their website have the details.

Some outdoor places that are interesting to go
      Singapore Botanic Gardens
      Jacob Ballas Childrens Garden
      HSBC tree top walk
      Labrador Nature Reserve

I brought my family to the goat farm, the frog farm and the vegetable farm in the Lim Chu Kang Area.

It's actually quite fun, as we got to see things that normal city folk don't get to see.

The frog farm has a tour guide as well.

u can check out the details here:

Hort park is a really nice place. Or you can try Normanton Park and then walk to Hort park.

how much is the chartering of mini bus?

I think you need to liaise individually with the farms on the guided tour, right?

I was just wondering, wouldn’t it be good if we can have organised trip arranged by KSP?

It would be an educational and social bonding trip…
