I think there are many good teachers, passionate about teaching and imparting, that got crushed under heavy KPIs and paperwork. So the more enterprising ones leave to start good enrichment centers, knowing that solid teaching and adequate resources are what exactly students desperately need ... :roll:

An MOU was signed with a foreign country to improve teaching techniques. Actually, our system is lacking in even the BASICS of effective teaching...
(1) educational resources (please dun say that Popular has enough resources)
(2) conscientious marking
Minister Heng wants Principals to tell parents what they have been doing. We KNOW what schools have been doing (or not) when we receive marked assignments. Quality of marking is a BASIC in good teaching... never mind creative teaching techniques. -
