            :rotflmao:[/quote]On a serious note, I kinda of feel my P5 boy is very relaxed vs my elder's P5.

            There are clearly less worksheets, esp in EL and MA.

            Definitely not what I expected after reading Janet's sharing of the workload her boy had last year.

                Why you say they're not suitable for your boys? Maybe from your reason we can provide better suggestions.

                I know that a few of us are sending our kids to TLL & TAS. I sent mine to Creative Horizons. But the best of them all is E3 Learning Ctr, hahaha.

                I think they swap Ts for the top class annually so your DS1 & DS2 may have different Ts.

                Different Ts ==> different approach?

                  Last year, my son had Math homework every day...either 'My Pals' Homework book and/or something else.

                  This year, it's EL homework almost everyday...so next year's P6s won't suffer :laugh:

                    If workload is less BUT exam std is not lowered, then the bucket is just being passed from school to home environment :censored:

                    I was a hands-off mum for my elder boy since he was in P5. The same cant be said for my younger boy this year.

                    I prefer the sch to push the children esp. in upper primary. Parent-child relationship wont be under stress.

                      Got the same feeling. Look at the Sci file, only a few pages of worksheets inside. Overall, lesser workload than I expected. Even lesser than P4 I think.

                        Hi mummies and daddies,

                        Don’t be too happy…it’s only 2nd march…long way to go.
                        After term 1 holiday, you may get heart attack when all the teachers pile it on. I think funx3 experienced this last year…am experiencing it now. P4 was busy (very busy)…art work, music, social studies, you name it lah.

                        This weekend no homework, as promised by teachers.
