Actually Im quite blur regarding the coach role..who qualify to teach what?

Anybody can just teach or claim to teach Competitive swimming?
Need any qualification beside passing your coach course...anyone can share some light?
Just curious & also enlighten the parents

Thks Jeff for asking me to drop by to take a look at the Competitive swim at Swimfast and have a better understanding of what is C swim & the coach role is all about.
Really an eye opener on how these young kids trained.
Was told that they r in the water by 6am till 8am sometime pass 8am.
They do abt 130-140laps per training and they return to train at 4-6pm, 5 times a week.
Not sure if my kids can do it tho they love to swim

Let them enjoy first, a good coach will lay a good foundation so that when they come over to C swim its easier for them
Dun worry, Only the elite swimmers do abt 130-140 laps per training daily so its def a No No for your kids..lol

My family just recently relocated to Singapore from HK. I am looking for a good coach to train my 5 year old son 2-3 times privately. My son has been swimming since he was 4 months and over the last 12 months, he has won in swim meets in HK. I would very much like him to continue to be develop in this area. Hence appreciate if any one has a good coach to recommend. Thanks!

Juniors :: 10th– 11th March 2012
Seniors :: 13th – 17th March 2012
Venue: Spore Sports School
Morning 9am, Evening 6pm
