We should trust our spouse 100% but we need to be prepared to protect ourselves and our kids. Just ask those women who have been abandoned by their husbands - most of them "trusted" their men 100% before! If you work in the counselling or social services line…you would understand what I mean…

        happy to be mum:

        hi nanschia

what happened to your DH? if you dun mind sharing...I cannot imagine my DH not around...

DH passed on last March. Cancer.
Left behind me and DS.

My condolence to you. Be strong.... :imsorry:

Me I am a widow too , my spouse also died of Cancer... last year Jan 2011 ...but I felt that it was Chemo that has shorten his life.... 😢

I am against Chemo....why I earth does people believe by putting Chemical in your body can save your life...

Apple Steve Job did not go for Chemo and he lasted 7 years...if he had taken Chemo I think he will last less than 3 years.... :nunchuk:

Still adjusting to this Widow life....so I feel your pain and sorrow... :grphug:

I am sure you will remember precious memories of your DH, who has shared .... so many common things with you in life...

For me , I discovered Cans and Cans of Worms.... when spouse passed away....
I felt so defeated....trusted and loved your spouse so much even when he is poor and sick....putting all his interest first....this is what I get in return....

Maybe in my past life I was a mean person, so this life I have to pay for my karma. :stompfeet:
But I cannot keep on harping this thought , I need to focus on my 2 girls...

If I breakdown, what will happen to my 2 Children and my parents....
        :?:
This is my life....cannot blame ... :siao:

So you too be strong....and take care!!! :xedfingers:
Need someone to talk to ...you can talk to me... :rahrah:

Completely. What’s the point of marriage without trust?

When nothing happens yet, of course there's no reason for distrust.

Many frenz i know trust and love their spouses unconditionally but
are totally caught offguard upon findings of their supposed other
equally loyal loving half having either extra marital affairs (some
with ppl they know too!).. or that they have been regularly
                frequenting prostitutes for yearssss..

                😞

                  Buds, so true.
That's why now I wouldn't dare say 100% these days, too much temptation out there. Eg. DH has a colleague who's rather 'friendly/touchy' (that's what I heard) & she seems to be always involved in the 'guys gathering' - supper, dinner, drinks session. Tell me dun be paranoid?!?! How?!?! Tell me to be more open-minded ..... How?!?! :skeptical:

agree, happened to a few of my friends. The trust has been abused.

If there’s no trust in a marriage, the marriage cannot hold. it has to be mutual, and it has to be complete trust. sometimes just a bit of distrust can cause a small crack… and small cracks can become bigger cracks, and bigger cracks become total breakdown.

Agreed. Trust but not blind trust.

My friend's dh travelled to China frequently and she said her dh 'confessed' that during entertainment have to 逢场做戏 so he did caress ktv girls' arms, waist and thighs but he insisted nothing beyond. Don't know how she managed to dig that juicy bit out from him :scratchhead:

Looking at her dh, he's the goody goody honest, good husband, good father kind of man. So trust or don't trust in this case? Furthermore, it's so far away, there's no way she can verify his words. On home ground, he is well behaved.

So my friend chose to trust him. But she sort of gave 'warning' by asking her dh innocently whether it's fine if another man touches her arms, waist and thighs. If he expects these zone to be acceptable to her, then he can accept the same 尺度 too, so long they can come to an agreement to avoid any future misunderstanding. She said her dh went paled 😆 Okay, my friend is still quite beautiful for her age so I guess her threat seems viable.
