      Hi Jedamum,

      thanks for the reply.

Its quite a gamble, similar to betting on toto. πŸ˜„

Looks like to be on safe side, have to register for Keming under 2A since PEPS has been on ballot over these years. Otherwise, may end up losing out on both sides.

For my case, Keming is further. Traveling distance, PEPS is nearer.

But if based on PEPS balloting history, the chances is very low coz too many people going for it.

I think I will go for Keming, and instead of stressing whether can win the toto, I can focus on how to prepare him for the primary education. πŸ˜‰

in terms of academic past results, how do we compare bt view and lian hua?

so far any comments on these two pri school?

              elle elle,

              http://www.bukitviewpri.moe.edu.sg/cos/o.x?c=/wbn/pagetree&func=view&rid=1079035
based on the chart, BVPS performed better in the % passes for standard subjects when compared to LPS.

do look at their choice of CCAs and distance when you are deciding on which to choose.
              good luck.

I would prefer to send child to school with higher percentage of passes to Express stream. Based on the top score, we may not be able to tell whether school also focus on the not so \"smart\" students.

I feel most important is having dedicated teachers and good sch curriculum. So far, BVPS has been quite good for my DS…

Agree, most importantly we must have dedicated teachers in school. Able to address the different learning needs of the students. πŸ™‚

                    Hi, I am new here.

Currently my elder girl is in Pri 5 and my elder son is in Pri 1. Both of them study in Lian Hua Pri Sch. I need some feedback. How do all of you find about Lian Hua Pri Sch. I found that the standard of this school is getting higher. The tests/exam are quite difficult. I found that quite a number of students also switch schools too.

One good advantage is setting difficult papers, when come to PSLE, students will have lesser difficulty. But disadvantage is, students fail the school tests/exams may led them have lost interest and confidence.

I am thinking of switching my son when he is in Pri 3. Cos only this school in Bukit Batok has only single session.

                      Hi,

My kids are at PEPS, not sure why the school are sure popular this area. If for those parent don’t like their kids to have homework, probably this will be your choice. My kids every day come back without home work. But have checked with other parents, their kids are at other school. So much school homework until they cannot finish…that’s why i m puzzle why PEPS no school homework for their pupils.

Parents from PEPS, can share with me, whether you have such thought?
