        Hi

        I'm a newbie here.

We just got news our son got in GEP.

He is from a neighbourhood school, and two of his other friends also received the yellow envelope, both boys.

We are really new to this, so hope to get some advice on how to choose the GEP school / help our child to cope with the GEP program etc in future from the helpful and experienced mummies and daddies here πŸ™‚

        thks!
        :congrats:

                It's ok :grphug:
Your DD is already very impressive to be the top 10% of the cohort. You should be proud of her.
GEP is a bonus, good to have, ok to miss πŸ™‚

Actually I wanted to ask this question long time ago. To me even those schools along bukit timah are also schools but in rich neighbourhood area. Or maybe we should call it popular and not so popular schools. Please comment, anyone?

I always found it strange that when I ask friends \"Your kid in P1 this yr right?\" and then the answer always has such a qualifier \"Ya, he's in a neighbourhood school\". Like school have no name....sigh.
                        :stupid:
