      English Teacher's errors in spelling.

      hi chen ~
to be honest i don't think the words 'trooping' and 'seating' are in their right usage here..

      jmho..

i would say that \"seating myself\" is written in the right context here. it's really advanced EL. Kudos to Chen's ds. *clap clap*

        Seat oneself
        Seat yourself
        Seat myself
        All are correct.

Thanks for noticing the wrong use of trooping that Teacher DID NOT correct. There were many others she did not correct. However, what is more salient is the mistakes she made when she corrected. You're really sharp to notice what she DID NOT correct.

thanks lots for the link, chen ~ learned something new today! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
        (ps. me oso a mum.)

๐Ÿ™‚ Good Job Chenonceau's DS. Too bad this EL teacher of his can't even acknowledge it. :?

                  Mine?

Cannot put T name lah... a bit heartless... I just want MOE to set up database to help such T, and to have better educational materials and textbooks to let kids self-study so they dun learn the wrong thing.

This T needs to earn a living too. I can't bear to shame her like that.

                    Ok ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hopefully the teacher doesn't browse the web one day and trips upon your blog. :xedfingers:

I was revising w p4 DD for her science test on the topic on human systems. Without yet flipping thru any resources, I asked to briefly share with me what she has learnt on the various systems. Hereโ€™s how the conversation goes:

Me: tell me what u know about muscular system
                        DD: muscles
Me: thatโ€™s all? ย Where hv u been revising from?
DD: I like systems n i read the entire textbook on system. ย Really musculasystems Is easiest. ย The whole page only has one key word "muscles"
Me: really? Show me ur textbook
DD: mum, the textbook is useless. We hardly use it during lessons for both Maths n science. Why does the school make us waste money to buy when they r seldom used?
                        Me: ???!!!
If DD has a uninitiated teacher who do not provide additional good notes n if I do not already hv some basic science knowledge, I will b blissfully thinking "muscles" is all she needs to know about the muscular system!
