      qms:

Time to move on. The fact that she got into the second round is an achievement in itself.
      :thankyou:

And for those who have not received the YELLOW ENVELOPE, I suggest parents write a letter of reassurance and put it in a beautiful envelope, be it red, blue, green or even yellow, and address it to their beloved children.

Assure them that their value, esteem and worth are not tagged to a brand - GEP, concorted by some policy-makers .

Assure them that you love them all the same because they are God's gift to you.
i'm going to write an appreciation letter for my dd and enclose it in beautiful envelope now

So Bing_he, can u share with us how u nurture your kids or u think they are juz naturally talented? Its so lucky to have a gifted kid, somemore u have 3, god is good to you. Somehow, i tink parents nurturing and the environmt the kids grow up in have some impact, of course there are some juz really naturally gifted, dun nd to do anything with them.

We should really start a New Forum named as \"Road to GEP\" inviting all current and past GEP parents and students to participant. They can share anything related from day 1 conceived till got the GEP letter. Topics that I can think of (but not limited to it)
        - type of food the child gets during infant
        - early teaching
        - early sign of a gifted child
        - which childcare or early learning centre
        - which Pri Sch
        - what kind of books they were exposed to
        - teaching methods
        - the list goes on......

Please feel free to add on.....

you forgot  . Waste money in preparing GEP or coach yourself with hands on materials avail in book shops..

                  Hi musette,

                  Congratulations!
Thanks! Dd was happy when she called from school during recess to tell me the news. But after school, she called from home, crying, coz she didn't do very well for MT. Like that how to go gep?

Agree. But despite being a relatively unpopular school, the results showed students are not being shortchanged in BTPS.

PS : More than 30 students sat for the second round. πŸ˜„
