I just saw my son's FT reply saying I wasn't selected too! Disappointed! I realize the school communication is lacking at times. Just wish they will improve on that.

well, i think there is another event next month, and they will rotate the parents. well, maybe, they could have dropped a note/email to the parents who responded.. sometimes, bopianla.

hmmm .... this disappointment at not getting chosen as parent volunteer for learning journeys is a new phenomena.

All the parents i hv known over the years are just so happy we don't have to go because there is tons of work to be completed, whether at work or at home. Most of us signed up because our little son / daughter wants their mummy / daddy to sign up. So we fulfill our obligations but secretly we were happy that we were not chosen ..... :siam:

But seriously, kudos to the new generation mums and dads here. :udawoman: :udaman:

well, for me and wifey, we want to see how our kid interact with some others. plus there is a kid who seemingly targeting my son, so maybe we just want to check their interactions and see whether there is a need to communicate w the teachers.


my son came back last fri with a bruise on face, and apparently, it was this kid who gave my son a knock… Patiently, I just want to put it as boy-boy fun but will monitor.

actually, the FT called once cause during assembly, both of them were on the floor, pulling @ each other. but after that, it seems, he is going after my son a bit. anyway, i just want to see whether they can work it out themselves first.

hi, has any attempted the chinese online homework. we ran into some problems with entering the letters with the sound but it ends up differently.

Just ignore what you see as the character on the screen. So long as he has chosen the correct hanyu pinyin from the selection screen, it is ok and you can just click submit accordingly.

My girl’s Teacher prewarned them that there will be 怪怪的字. It will be so unless you install the chinese character software on your laptop/ desktop. I Haven’t figured out how to do that.
