Planning to register my 20 months old gal for Pre N next year.
BOTH Galilee and Calvary @ Pandan are beri convenient for me and my in laws.
But really in dilemma which to choose.... Anyone have any input for me on these 2 schools?
Any pointer how to choose?
Currently, I only know the difference i.e.Galilee is cheaper than Calvary. -
Hi Bowie,
I have wrote something in the previous forum (so sorry I don't know how to merge that over) - my girl is currently studying K2 in Galilee Kindergarten. She has been there since her Pre-Nursery day and I would said that she has grown up with Galilee
Personally, I found that the teachers and Principal are all very caring towards the children. Academic wise - I would say that her K2 syallbus has well prepared them for Primary 1 education. They have music lesson, meal time and also play time too.
If you are interested, you may want to call the school at 6560 3514. The Principal is Mrs Maureen Teo and she is a very nice lady. She can even remembers all the children by their name - from Pre-Nursery to K2 level, as told to me by my girl

Thanx Strawberry Milk,
Really feel assured by your feedback. Where is your last post? I will go over to read.
BTW, how’s the hygiene level of Galilee? I have some concern on HFMD and other virus. Saw in one of the poll, its common for kids to be sick when they attend school. As common as once every 3~4 weeks!!! Worry. -

Hi Strawberry Milk,
Have PM you but in case you missed my msg. Saw that there is some construction next to Galilee, iz beri noisy and dusty?
Have some concern over this though the school assure me its not noisy.
Need your feedback.
Thanx. -
Hi Bowie,
I think I have posted a reply yest evening - think somehow \"was lost\" somewhere.....
Regarding the construction next door, my daughter said that their class is not affected. In fact, the children are all very curious to know what is construction work like eg. what those machineries doinge etc etc....My girls learn alot from what the teacher has explained and even can tell me the names of the machinerie/equipments if we passed any construction site..So, it's good she learning something new too....
I believe the construction work will be over soon; it's just a temporary disturbance
Thank you and you have a great day ahead.... -
Thanx Strawberry Milk,
I have just registered my gal after visiting the place the 3rd time (Kiasu). Still like the environment which has beri good ventilation compared to Calvary next door.
It seems like Calvary has a lot of students. While Galilee has less classes maybe the teachers can focus better and less chance for spreading virus??
Thanx a lot on your advise. U have a great day ahead n maybe will c u @ Galilee next yr??

Hi Bowie,
Glad to hear that you have registered with Galilee. Hope your daughter will have a great time studying there.
My girl will be graduating from Kindergarten this year so I dont think we will be able to meet next year
Nevertheless, we still can exchange infos in this forum
