Can I know how long does the battery lasts? I heard only 3-4 months and how much does a replacement battery costs?
Mine lasted almost 1 year already. -

Thanks for the feedback!! Guess, i have to be more diligent in removing the dirt and clear the brush after every use..
Hi, 2 in my family have long hair.SMH FOREST:
Thanks for the reviews!
Hmmm.. thing is, i have long hair, and it gets stuck in the navibot's roller brush at the bottom... very silly if you ask me... will probably call the svc ctr to enquire further... if its how it works, im so so bummed!!!
Most of the hair are caught in the bin, but there are some at roller brush.....I would think it's inevitable. If the roller brush reach the hair before the vacuum, likely it'll get stuck there. Currently I clear the bin and brush after every use.....cos' I dun want it to end up like the broom all entangled with hair. -

Hi fifiyeo, can I check whether u keep it on throughout day and night or on only on certain times when u scheduled it to run ? We are concerned abt the batt life if we keep it on 24/7...dasalo:

Agree with your views....thot it would be noisy but quite ok. Tho it seems haphazard, it does clean quite well for areas that it come across. Something interesting.....first day, it took ~2 hours to clean, 2nd day ~1.5hours, 3rd day ~50mins. Wondering if it's because not much to clean it will auto reduce the time required? Will continue to monitor.][/quote]wow this \"maid\" shows true colour very quickly wor. -

As for cloth floor mats, I hv many. Accumulate a load n throw them into washing machine w some detergent n run a fast 30 min cycle before hanging them out in the sun.
Then run 5 min of rinse cycle to wash the tub.
I tried hand washing. V tiruing n like not as clean as machine wash. So decided to stop torturing myself. Heee.. -

i boil/cook dish cloth, tablecloth and hand towel (2pcs) 2x a week with alittle either baking soda or detergent (powder) in a designated old stock pot. Only about 5-6 towels each time in the pot.Another question for parents without maids...how do you wash the rags ? floor rags / dish rags etc ?

Floor mat once weekly (used to be once fortnightly) in washing machine. I did not rinse the machine after that though. I vacuum everyday (handheld electrolux) and mop 3x a week, so I guess my floor ain't very dirty. I still find traditional mop head in microfiber ($10) best for my marble/parquet flooring. I can't stand watermarks on marble and parquet can't be too wet. On average I need to change about 2-3 mop heads a year.
My Leifheit step mop is now a \"white elephant\" cause is too wet to my liking.
