Grammar practice is by study helpers.

for P3 n P4 only (saw from the tab)? how about other levels? i am using P1 one for my K2 boy. very easy to use (ie the standard is not very high, and not too wordy as compared to other assessments and my boy likes the different levels).

True, Its very easy and my kiddo can manage it without my help. same here she is doing the next level. Its available from p1-P6. I am using these books to keep her in practice.

For those using Elite for Primary 4 EL, how do u find this assessment book.

For EL assessment, is it better to get those all in one or by specific components? TIA

I found out that Elite series is not suitable for local context...realized some sections in P6 not very useful for my son...since i've bought it, cant possibly waste it...I will get him to practise some areas like MCQ and synthesis. If you see what Elite on the cover stands for, you will know why.

I've used this book(P2,P3) with my dd, I am going for P4 one. I am not sure about the P6 one. can you please tell me which part of the book is not for local context? (other than the cover)

Think I am the most guilty one :oops: - both DDs' Elite books have been :snooze: :snooze: in my cabinet and hardly used :sad: I can't comment on the contents as if I remember correctly, both have only touched 2 exercises :siam:

Went for the Parent-Teacher-Meeting last Saturday. DD1 P4 FT was very encouraging and positive towards DD1's learning curve. She just mentioned that DD1 needs a little push and help on the comprehension part. As DD1 was sitting besides me. she heard the whole conversation So, yesterday when we were at Popular getting her stationery, she picked up the following book and put into the shopping basket

Am targeting to use this book to guide her along and hopefully she able to grasp the pointers in answering to OE comprehension questions

My DD always goes to the stationary section whenever I am at the assessment books side. Sigh.

Now the entire attention is turned towards English since we did not have practice during the first term. But my DD is really in holiday mood :imcool:
