I am new here. There are so many clubs in Kiasu Parents, not sure which one to join.

But I guess I will start off here as I am SAHM with 3 children.

Aiyah, canvas... those pple are just jealous lah... I get the \"so good life\" comment from pple all the time (even from my MIL) even though I have no domestic help and work part-time. And the full-timers at where I work call the part-timers \"housewives with no commitment\"...

Just be proud of it. Not everyone can afford to be a SAHM. 🙂 We contribute in our own right and just make sure your DH knows it.
How to make husband knows it :? Keep telling him I working hard at home? :rotflmao:

            Oppsgal,

I know of one SAHM who will start cleaning the house vigorously when the husband is about to come home so he sees her hard at work…

            Canvas, cherry gal,
Agree that sometimes it’s jealousy and guilt. If they keep needling at you, why not stick the knife back in and agree that life is indeed good because you can spend so much more time with your children. Or that your dh is so sweet he doesn’t mind the reduced income because family life is more impt.

I am a wahm and though it does get tiring sometimes, I do feel am very fortunate to have this option.

Dhs rarely found that we do hard work at home.in early years i proved in Sundays.so he can see.recent years he asked me how come u can work without a nap.i think they need time to realise.cos they rarely do the chores.how they know? Once they started to participate in our daily chores they will know.after 10 years my dh started to appreciate my job.esp in kids education.

Haha...start cleaning only husband is about to come home? Sound like some employees only work hard when see boss around. :skeptical:

For me, I prefer to do mopping and cleaning up when husband not around. Nobody to \"disturb\" me. 😂

But my kids always gave me away & told their daddy I've been busy reading manga the entire afternoon :stupid: I do report to dh what I did everyday during dinner time. If no time to read manga that day means I'm overworked that day! Chey, I need some ME time to wind down too, my ME time happens to be reading manga 😉

Kay, I gonna made an appointment to go for one week trial with a ladies gym I shortlisted long long ago. Just thinking of it already feel soooo tired but I seriously need to lose some weight. With advancing age, I guess my metalbolism rate slows down & I actually put on 5 kg over the last 8 months :yikes:

Hi! I’m a Stay at Home Mummy to a boisterous 5 month old baby boy. Sometimes he tire me out so much that I tell him if he makes me so exhausted again, I’ll go to work and not take care of him anymore! It’s not easy being a stay at home mom!
