to keep the old card, you must NOT bring it to Transitlink office to transfer the outstanding stored value in the old card to the new card - they will automatically confiscate your old card and it is printed in the small print that it is their property
Ha Ha ....Funx3:

good to look young
the old card is valid till april, i think
My Gal Says New Photos taken Not so Nice -le!
But Think We'll keep the Old Card .... Keepsake of her Kiddish Look!

for sec students, they do not need to surrender the old card to get the new card which is automatically issued to them
just bring the new card to Transitlink to put in the deposit value and top up value
consider it as using the balance in the old card to buy the old card from Transitlink lor ..... so you better make sure the value in the old card is used till the minimum amount[/quote]Oh means there is a window period of Overlap when Both Cards can be Used?
Assuming the Sec sch Card will be issued sometime this month to Next Month .... -
Funx3:
that is correct

My son is in SCOUT camp these days. It is raining these days and very cold. I am worrying very much because they are sleeping on the grass ground.
Their handphones are all collected by trainer, I can not get the latest information.
Why do not the boys hold their hand phone? -

their tents are just next to the Rajaratnam block, no worryMy son is in SCOUT camp these days. It is raining these days and very cold. I am worrying very much because they are sleeping on the grass ground.

Why do not the boys hold their hand phone?
phones are kept away to remove the source of distractions for the kids, esp during group activities. they are old enough to be alone and cut off from communication with family for a few days
everyone without phone will be fair for everyone -
My son came back home after his three days SCOUT camp. SO DIRTY and SO TIRED.

Parents, these are boys, they need to be exposed to such things! And if they are Singaporeans, they will go through worse in National Service.
My son is in National Service BMT now, and he is out in field camp this week, raining every day and he is sleeping in a tent for 2 in the jungle!
Please do not say that is different, no choice cos your sons will have to go through that later in their life, and if they are not trained up now, they will suffer when they go to NAtional Service!
The school will always take a priority in taking care of your sons, so just take it that it is part of their growing up.
