64 can hold approx twice the amount of media, Apps and everything compared to 32GB. How much 32GB can hold, just double it on 64GB.

You pay additional $130 for extra 16GB for 16GB->32GB, and $130 for extra 32GB for 32GB-> 64GB. So, the 64GB is better value for money, actually.

Also, consider that the iPad3 takes Full HD videos.

For a 16GB model, the storage would be filled within a hour or so of video taking, assuming it is same bitrate as the iPhone4S.

higher resolution screen means video & photos can also be of higher resolution, and thus of much larger size.

app size increase should be marginal.

                mp3 no different in size.

I store home videos & photos in my ipad, so I went for 64GB.

                  Thanks so much, tankee. :please:

I'm personally more inclined to take up the 64GB from the start.
I take loads of home videos (since got so many children so more
precious moments to record šŸ˜‰) and i can almost be classified as
a camera whore! :yikes: All my phones/memory cards are FULL of pictures!

                  Now.... :?

The question is.... to go for iPad2 or iPad3... :?
Can i get your opinion on this? Thanks in advance. :please:

if $ is not a concern, the higher resolution (ie retina display) on the new ipad (or ipad 3) would make the photos and videos look better than on ipad 1 and ipad 2.

the higher resolution display is also said to be easier on the eye when reading text / ebooks.

here is a side by side comparison of the display, done by HWZ

just realised that the new ipad comes with a smaller connector, thus the ipad 1 connectors can not be used

                        Thanks tankee for your feedback.

Just wondering if it is worth getting the 4G version or is wifi good enough?

Also, if we were to purchase ebooks, are you referring to the ebook apps? Is Singapore licensed to download those ebooks? This is because kindle users in Spore have such a hard time downloading ebook from Amazon, esp if we do not have a US account.

I know Singtel has a skoob app for ebooks, but not sure how that compares with the ebook app and kindle.

Can help answer, please? :please: :please:
