Why not ants? Thought ants are more common at home compared to roaches? 😉

              Canvas:
My DH is a better money manager and I never used to take money from him until I became a SAHM last August. He transfers an amount to my account that I use for the groceries, own use and for our two kids. He settles the bills. The amount (decided by me, which I deeply regret. :stupid: ) is just enough to be honest but I know DH saves enough to bring us for short holidays about twice a year. I have a supp card that I hardly use.

I still haven't quite got past the \"shy to ask for money\" part and hopefully, DH will be more automatic a bit. Come August, if no increment then I have no choice but to.................*insert your own imagination* 😉
dont mind me asking how much was the amount you decided on? I'm about to ask for the amount too, when baby is born, i dont want to end up :stupid: :stupid: :stupid: also lol

What is the range (household) you would consider as middle income ?

HOw about this? Middle income grossing couple earning more than $10k each but hubby earns slightly lesser but wife can't drive. Should the wife contemplate staying home, the only monetary impact is less savings I guess, lifestyle and all else remains.

Monetary impact wise, depends on their existing savings, liabilities, stability of hubby job plus expenses level per month. Psycho impact - Depends on DH willingness to let DW be SAHM and DW's willingness to let go of the status associated with her work. The wife can always pick up driving.

Sorry if the connotation to "middle" is causing grief. Anyway, dilemma! Should I stay home but hubby don’t look me very up to be "competent" (cant drive is a minus point) enough at home and would be bored very soon, But I think I had enough at work already and would like to focus on my kids, hubby says this is escapism from work!! Really dilemma!

hahaha, my rich galfriend and her group of tai tai would not hesitate to spend the hubby's $$$.

they have more right to spend the $$$ than the mistress and girlfriend.
so spa package, slimming package, high tea, long lunch at orchard, personal shoppers, 1st class treatment at jewellery stores, fly biz or 1st class etc.
huh?! are you saying that these tai tais hubbies all have mistress and gfs?

Wah, if like that ALL the more must spend the money until he jialat jialat no money to 养二奶。。。
