Generally both plural n singular are acceptable.
But a general rule of thumb is to let the verb agree with the closest noun.
In this case, students is plural, so should use get. -

In is a better choice. Conveys a maximum timeframe. Within is also sound, but it conveys a general timeframe. So for not delaying, in would tie in better. But in my opinion both convey different meanings.1. \"(In or Within) half an hour, we have to be off, so don't delay,\" he told us.
2. \"You can think (about/over) what I have said, and when you have made up your mind, inform me of your decision,\" he said.
Thanks for your answers and explanations.

A private English tutor once shares with me this :please:
Improving English is all about listening and reading.
Listen to good speakers;
Read good materials from internet or publications or watch documentaries or different types of programs;
Free time and gives a child personal space to think and connect the dots and make sense of the world around them.
And gives room to develop creativity / originality.
Listening and reading widely over a period of time will / do translate into good writing! :rahrah: :boogie:
