gov msg is clear - ALL Good Schools are for SC ONLY.

gov msg to PR - IF u want to send you child to Good Schools convert to SC.
For all the Good Schools, nothing has changed. All vacancies will still be taken by P2C but now ALL by SC parents....... maybe more KS ones ... ๐Ÿ˜†

just like years ago when they did not realise the unintended consequential reality of Maersk Line leaving PSA ...... lol, and chill, every body

Aww.. what happened? someone chase away maersk?

they did not chase maersk away

only make the commercial terms very tough

maersk went to JB's TPT, and of course massive retrenchment took place

decision makers only calculated how many directly employed by PSA were chopped.....

the actual number chopped were many times that PSA employee because all the supporting industry for shipping were affected ..... not just maersk employees

I'd prefer to go local. If that offends you then sorry I'd like my kids to integrate into Singapore society more, not less.
Don't worry, our government has put in effort in building lots of primary school recently and quite a number will be ready by 2013. ๐Ÿ™‚

Unless you insist on \"popular\" school. If not for sure your kids will have a space in our local school. ๐Ÿ™‚ In neighbourhood school, your kids can also integrate with our Singapore kids. ๐Ÿ˜„

              Cheer!!!

No worries, the ft will turn the โ€˜neighborhoodโ€™ schools into โ€˜gooderโ€™ school so eventually moe can brat that all sg schools are good school

IMO, If neighbourhood schs are being mostly filled with PR presumably more 'on' kind n better income type, maybe it'll come a time when regular SC will find it better off trying to squeeze into branded schs cos it makes better sense to be a medium fish in a branded sch than a medium fish in a neighbourhood sch. Ie if the shot at being a big fish in a neighbourhood sch is now out of reach, if now in neighbourhood sch, top classes r dominated by PR presumably more On n better well off to engage extra help outside schs, yes, neighbourhood schs standard will rise, but will it be at the expense of average kids in neighbourhood schs?

This move reminds me of setting up ERP gantries to reduce traffic jam. The difference is that this is popular among most SC.

Why this self-defeatist attitude? Have more confidence in SC children lar. With hard work, SC students can still be big fishes in neighbourhood schools! If you have no confidence in your children, how can your children have confidence in themselves?
