Hi lim72,I make it a point that he has to write one essay a week, either on sat or sun morning. So mentally he is prepared & knows that he can't escape from it. Next, I will start with the cd. Each topic is only 5 to max 10mins. Luckily, he enjoys the lesson and find them interesting. Usually I will cover a few topics but not more than 30mins.
He will copy down what he had learnt onto a note book for future reference after each topic.
Can share some pointers how you assess your DS writing thereafter? -
Hi 711mum
Frankly, my chinese is not very good. The book that I used for my ds cl compo is heavily guided. I just make sure he uses all the given phrases, the sentences contruction is ok, and I will given him extra marks if he could put in extra phrases/words from his own.
Iām using "Green Leaf" publication for creative chinese writing. -

Appreciate your sharing. For CL compo, I can still leave dd in the hands of the tuition centre, EL compo is a concern as we have no one to turn to, they are marked purely at my discretionHi 711mum
