Sigh! We will always get problem from maids whether they young, old, new, experienced, good, lousy etc like my maid who has worked in Singapore 7 years before she join me is extremely rude when her loan is finished. When I called her while she is on the Hp, she would shout back \"WHAT!!!!!\". I just tell her \"there is cake in the fridge.....\" she cut me off from here by replying \" ya lah ya lah!!\" why she is like that? Because I interrupt her phone call. And this is just one of the many examples that she is rude. My husband ask me to bear with it since she is a good worker on the whole. So as long as you have maid you will have problem, it's whether you can adjust yourself to tolerate it.

Aiyoh, Yours not as bad as my current Maid ....
She could not wake up early in the morning, so when I found she's still chatting on her handphone in the Room past 12 midnite (while lying on the bed), I ask her to stop her phone call and go to sleep.

      Know What she Does?
She Glares at Me, Turn around to face the Wall, Cover her Head with the Blanket, and Continue Chatting on the Phone! :faint:

Looks like nowadays when you employ a maid, what you get is another child - a petulant and defiant one.

Hi all, thanks for all the advice, my agent contacted me and my transfer maid has been approved. The airfare according to the agent is going to be paid by my maids sister as she never wanted her sis to work overseas for fear of problems.

Just hope my maid will not resist when I take her to the agent next week. The last 2 employers brought her bag down separately when they sent her back. I hate to travel to the agent twice and was contemplating on sending her first then her bag later cos shes not one normal ordianry maid.
Im also afraid she may not board the plane as she lost her ticket at the airport going to saudi. Highly forgetful person besides she dead beat on not going home. Just hope agent knows how to handle her.

moonee, why don’t you ask your agent to pick up your maid from your home? Your agent can send a runner and supervise her packing her things and escort her out of your home. They can also escort her to the airport and make sure she boards the plane. The runners have a lot of experience dealing with such cases. And if they’re the same nationality as your maid they can persuade them to leave quietly.

Cough syrups have been taken by some people to get a 'high'. It also acts as a sedative and can lead to drowsiness. If your maid doesn't have a cough why is she taking it? Because it gives her a kick? That could explain her sleepiness.

                        Here's DIY Steps -

                        1) Buy Ticket,
                        2) Log on Online to WP online (use employer singpass), Cancel Work Permit, (must Key in Flight Number+Departure Date), Print Cancellation Notice + Emigration Exit Pass (which is Required for Exit at Emigration Check pt, and Surrenders the WP Card too),
                        3) Settle ALL salary,
                        4) PAck Her Bags and
                        5) Send Maid to Airport (BEst to See her Clear Emigration thru Glass Partition),
                        And ....
                        6) U can Go Back to A Maid-Free Home! 😆 😆
