Yes, I have that book. In fact son's English teacher used that title last year (P5).Hi,
Anyone can advise good PSLE English Oral books? Is Primary 6 Master Oral from Marshall Cavendish good? Thanks. -
Hi Janet,
Thanks. -
Hi mummies,
I’m still looking for a synthesis assessment to coach my daughter (P2). Some of the connectors tested like ‘when’/‘then’/‘so’ are not found in the P2 level (Conquer S&T) as well as Score in S&T (P3). Any other recommendations of S & T assessment ? Thanks. -

How about just go to http://orlesson.com/EnglishExam.html to print the pages on S&T on all those P2 papers? If the practice is insufficient, do the same for P3 papers, P4 papers etc... just choose those easier/relevant ones for your gal, depending on her school's standard if you want to target at the right questions.Hi mummies,

If I were you, I would analyse dd's S&T weakness on school worksheets and change some of the questions slightly on the worksheets to test her again. If she manages to get them right, it shows that she has understood. If not, it could be carelessness and you need to teach her how to check her work to avoid them. Having tonnes of assessment books is useless if you lose focus of the strategies. -

Thanks, I will do that.

Perhaps I'll use her worksheets to go through with her again. :hugs: -

Hi Picolo,
My brain must be been jammed of late :slapshead: ...never thought of printing out the questions on synthesis for her to practise. Looks like I will be doing just that 2moro. she just brought home a book from school on 'situational writing' there will be a test next week on writing postcard. -
Hi all, my DS will be going pri 1 next year. Would like to prep him on basics before he enters into the new phase. May I know whether are there any recommendations on English books to start him off . Thanks in advance mummies

Are you looking for P1 assessment bks or K2?

Hi piccolo,
So grateful for your suggestion
I printed the past year papers for my daughter. For Nan Hua, there are even several assessment papers based on themes. But ultimately still testing on same stuff like grammar, vocab, cloze....wonderful
Also printed for Chinese.
