Do u hav any idea why whenever I shout or scold at my son, he will burst out in laughter n chuckle nOn stop. It's freak me. I'm actually angry
Maybe after scolding him, you follow up with a negative consequence.
Example, you scolded at him cos he was taking his toy truck to knock off a pile of clothes you have just folded. You tell him firmly it is wrong for him to do that, then you follow up with a negative consequence of taking away his toy truck so he is not allowed to play with it. So he know if he do something not nice, he wont be able to play with his toy.
Kids with ASD doesn't know how to read expressions and quite oblivious to feelings. Hence he might not know and understand you are angry and thought all the shouting / scolding is that you are trying to play with him. -
most of our kids are ‘visual learner’ and are very good in memorizing.
For my boy, he learnt all the roads in Singapore by playing with the iphone google map app (the one that have photos). He is now our walking GPS and street directory. Visual aids is always helpful when we are teaching visual learner. For my son, I got to use fingers to help my son to learn the 4 intonation in hanyu pinyin, which he is struggling with.
Regarding reading people’s expression/feelings, it can be taught, but then must first build up eye contact. -
But my son know which teacher he likes n know which teacher he don’t like.
As some teachers talk to him he will look out n smile , and if the teacher he don’t like talk to him , he will put his head down n not looking at her even if she try to pull his head up.
Are these related to read feelings or difference ? -

He even try to block my vision if I’m looking at other child n he stare at me.

Mummies , does yr child super sensitive to sound like vacuum cleaner or hair dryer.
Whenever I use vacuum cleaner my son will traumatized …how to help him over come this ? -

Can’t help u on that. My boy can sleep thru while I vacuum next to him. He just can’t take cinema sounds and loud theatrical sounds. We just gave up going to the cinema.

Hi! You must send your child for an assessment by qualified psychologist in order to diagnose. These group of children are typically verbal and have high IQ but have some ASD traits, especially in their social skills.

how/what they found out that and classified as High Functioning ASD Children in Singapore?
High IQ. act normal but still have ASD traits? and why they still classify as ASD?
