Aiyo... just told me that she dun want to work yesterday :yikes: ...
Asked her why ? and she say that she cannot live up to my expectation
... For once, this new maid i kinda like her so i did not scolded her but rather give her stern instruction but my maid agency say this is not the correct attitude to treat them....
For those maid that are willing to learn they cannot accept that you tell them that they make mistake everytime ( and tell them that next time do not make this again... ) rather you must closed both eye as long as they did not steal from you....
what to do, i am really at the mercy of them.. i do not want to wait for another 2 mths for a new one especially this one is not bad.... -

Probably got to adopt the approach of treating them like a kid. Ever thought of engaging part-time maid? My PV friends mention to me that NTUC income having part time maid services, at $220 per month for 4 times. -
Oh! that a very useful pieces of information. My maid had agreed to stay after i " beg " her… do not know whether she will raise the request again if i lose my temper…
Then i will need to engage this NTUC part time maid… -

I am considering whether to engage one, as my DH is on flexi working hours..so he is doing most of the chores. Hahaha..whether does he wants a easy life by spending a little more or stick to the current arrangement.Oh! that a very useful pieces of information. Did your maid ask for more off days? A friends' maid ask if she could get one off days per week starting next year (for those new contract) although her current contract ends Oct '13.............and my friend is considering agreeing so her maid won't be too unhappy from Jan till Oct 2013......Oh! that a very useful pieces of information. I am not sure whether this will keep her happy for the next 2 years for that she will asked for more once her loan ends....

Furthermore, her english is really very very bad. I have to resort to using google translation to \" speak \" to her.
I asked her simple english \" who cooked this \" and she do not know what i am saying....
My colleague had worst one ( same time as mine ), her maid actually left her young son in the car for 20 mins ( with engine off ) and when she asked for yesterday newspaper ( on sat )... and when she searched in vain and my colleague pointed to the first stack of paper, she said loudly \" this is not yesterday newspaper, it is friday newspaper \"
:faint: :lightrod: :yikes:
