Whatever the situation, regardless of who having the right of way, I think pedestrians need to be mindful when on the road. Well, I can have the right of way but if one idiot ram into me, somebody will have to passup my ic to ica. I am as much a driver and a pedestrian. So I see both sides. Some drivers are just &$@:, they like never see other road users like that. simi car also have, not just the posh ones.
Some road users also earn my $&)@. Today, I was driving along Alexandra road and came to a point where there’s a traffic light crossing. The cars hv the right of way, ie red man - pedestrian could not cross. But this Chinese man talked on the phone and crossed! Heng I got six sense and slowed down… If not, I think I may end up on YouTube and news too.
There was once, I brought my child to his class. We were waiting to cross at the zebra crossing. As my child is still young, he is not as aware or able to move as fast as an older person can. I usually wait for cars to reach a total halt before I cross and this time, I did the same. This )$&@ black modified Honda civic driver started to depress the accelerator pedal and the car started to jerk a little and inched forward a little (can imagine?). I was so angry with that man! -

there are impatient drivers who cannot wait a second longer at zebra crossing and move on even when you have not completely reach the divider..there was once as I was about to reach the divider when the idiot impatient driver just drove off and I could feel the side of the car brushing against my back :nailbite: :stompfeet:

In regards to reckless driving, I think it is the driver, not the car.
Definitely some truth here. But One's choice of car/dressing reflects one's personality to a certain extent. For instance, my hubby is a very low key person who likes things simple. He drives a plain golden nihon sedan (so boring). He won't be buying a car with modified double exhaust pipes and a noisy engine. His bro on the other hand is a flashy guy. He drives a black mian Ta you with a va va vroom engine.
I have a bubbly personality. I would hv bought a red Honda jazz/beetle because of my personality. But I also like speed, so a red/while/checked mini Cooper is also my cup of tea. -

Fully agree. The car one drives to a certain extend, will reflect his/her personality. That said, whether you are the low-key type, or the flashy type, you can still be unleashed the demon in you on the road.AC_Power:

I have a colleague who is a very mild person, speaks softly, never seen him once throwing temper. Wait till you see how he drives his Toyata Altis.....
