Does anyone know if parents are able to get their kids in the kindergarten years without enrolling in pre-nursery or nursery?

I presume you are referring to SJCK K1/2..

I believe it's easier to get your child in during those 2 years, as some children migrate overseas or to another school for various reasons... I got my 2nd in only when she was in K2, but she loved it.

Anybody read the newspapers today that St. James Church kindergarten will be closing down in 2014? The one at Dempsey road due to lease expiring?

Quite a shocking news to me although it may not be new to existing parents with kids in the kindy since I read that there was a petition last year for parents to appeal to the authorities to let them stay.

What are your plans?
