yes it is still on every friday. 🙂 (the show and tell)

coz_hui, our kids are 2 years old, so that's not N1. it's more of playgroup. N1 would be 3 years old. our kids will all be in N1 next year too!

if I understand correctly from the school, i think N1 would be 5 days a week. only playgroup has a choice of 3 or 5 days a week, i think.

My son is also in this school… This school is really great. I started my boy in Jan this year & shortly into his 4th month to school, he can read from 1-20, Jan -Dec, recongnize A-Z without the aid of pics. Teachers are really caring and commited to give the very best to all the kids. Every Fri, they have this "Show & Tell", but I always forget to tell him bring something to class. And what I like best of this school is that, Teacher Jit will update their blog weekly so we as parents will know what the kids are learning in the classrooms. Now that they are trying to combine 2 schools into 1 location, I really hope it will not be too far away as we are staying very near the campus. BTW, my son is 24mth when he was in this school and currently 27-28mth. So, I recommand this school to parents.

Show and Tell is where the kids bring something from home. In Primary schools it is more structured. they have a topic or theme and the kids bring something and talk about it to their teachers and friends

I am not sure about the other levels, but for playgroup, the kids are so young so they can bring anything they fancy. just don't bring too valuable or fragile stuff that might be lost or damaged by the kid. they will take turns to go in front and face the class and share about the thing with their friends. it can be anything, from a book to a photo to a toy or blankie.

i am not thinking so far yet, sorry, so have no comments about whether i will leave her there till K2. everything has to depend on how she develops and grows. but for now, she is enjoying herself a lot, and I'm very happy with the school so far.

Myself, I believe in the Montessori approach too. So even if I change schools, I would most probably choose another MOnte school or a school with similar approach. 🙂

As for P1, I have 2 older kids who are already in Pr sch, so I kind of can tell whether this last one will be ready or not. So far I am not worried because P1 is not so much about academic readiness but a lot more on other aspects as well, which parents, rather than a preschool, have greater responsibility in preparing the child for.
