Drive from SFO will take around 6hrs.
You can take a domestic flight to John Wayne Airport (SNA), Orange County, Santa Ana in LA. It's only 20min drive away. Use a GPS to help you get there easier. -

If you drive from SFO to Disneyland, you can stopover at pebble beach for the 17 miles drive and Gilroy for shopping at the factory outlet.
Yes, agree with KSP that GPS will be extremely useful in US (at least much more useful than if you use it in Singapore). -
