:rotflmao: this yr are you still blissfully unaware?
I'm a worrier so if I don't have to sign the cute notes notifying me abt the mini tests, I will :nailbite: all year round. :rotflmao: -
Yes, still blissfully aware. Just start banging when I sign the final result. Hee

FYI, I’ve received the P1 registration form for siblings already. Filled it up (for DS2) and asked DS to pass to FT. Woah, seems so near now…
-
I’ve rec’d it too. Mine will be next yr, so a bit like waste paper. But I guess the school is afraid someone might get missed out if they just give kids whose siblings are supposed to register this yr.

and the best thing is, if kids have no siblings registering, parents should cross the form and sign (? this one not quite sure). I think they want to die die make sure that parents have seen the form and no one comes back to complain they don't know.
Somewhere out there, there must be registry of births and registry of kids who are in school. Problem is that the 2 systems aint talking to each other. I think it's a waste of time/paper - but what to do? I dun blame the school; just the not talking systems only. -
Good session just now for P2 parents. I have a better understanding on what they trying to achieve and what holistic assessment is all about and of course how I can help my child better (ok, still hazy on that, but at least this is a start).

Hmmm, Is phase 1 registration dependent on the form? I thought can just pop by the school to register when phase 1 of P1 registration starts.
-
Yes, phase 1 registration is when they pass the form to your child. Fill up, and attach registering child’s birth cert, plus the sibling in school birth cert, plus copy of immunization cert. sweet and simple.

Come P1 registration time, the school will pass the registration form (the one with carbon copies in pink and yellow) for parents to sign and return. -
Oh. Still for part two? Thanks. This my first and only time.
