And in NURSERy 1, alot Of time is free n easy kids are playing their own toys n such.

Now tat a issue . ESP they duno how to socialize n imaginary play. End up ASD will go
Into their own world … Worse esp bullies come

And teacher there will not guide ASD child what does it means by these instructions . No response they just give up n leave them cuz the class is big

How many kids are there in the class? When my son was in pre-n, it was only 5-6 kids. Sometimes when there is flu spreading, can reduce to 2 kids! But eventually the class grew to 16 to 2 teachers so not so good. The last cc he went to started off also only 6-8 kids. Then grow until very big. In a sense it’s good because it helps him in the initial stages when he needed more attention and slowly tapers off. So when choosing a cc, find those with better student teacher ratio. At this age, they need more attn.

My boy also has a mild temper. But thankfully when he was in cc, he has not been really bullied other than the occasional bite. He also bites sometimes, so I close an eye when he gets one. I asked the teacher to video tape the class to see how he behaves in class. Very surprised to see that when his toys were snatched by another kid, there will be someone who will be there to take back for him. The bully was also scolded by the kid. Lol. Maybe u can ask the teacher to partner him with a nurturing kid in class. Usually they pair kids up. So a nurturing kid will benefit him a lot.

I’m just wondering, maybe u should change the school. And don’t tell the sch about his condition and see how they handle first.

If he is suffering from such taunts, it’s better to leave. There are always other schools. And u don’t need to tell of his condition. I think to continue staying in this type of unsupportive environment is more detrimental and it may also be the cause for his withdrawals. I read that many victims of bullying incidents become withdrawn.

What do you mean by Withdrawn? Victim being withdrawn?

Those ratio good one are expensive childcare.. for cheap one is like tat one. 12 to 1 teacher. One class total 24 kids with 2 teachers..

I don think they have pair up team too ..

Yr child is lucky , always hav guidance angel beside him…

That means keep to themselves, don't talk much and don't interact.

Not really. Expensive childcare can also have poor ratio and cheap ones can have good ratio. U just need to look around. 24 is actually a lot for 2 teachers to handle. And usually in N1, it's 2: 16.

Give a call to the cc near your place. Look around more. There may be some hidden gems. I found mine thru recommendation. It wasn't in my radar even. But lucky to find it. 🙂

Yes, altho they it’s 1:12, not all will accept until so much. I will shun these ESP for our kids who need more personal attention. Who cares about mcys guidelines? U should not just be led by the nose. If not it won’t help your kid.
