Hi mummies,

I am so relieved the show & tell is over...have been getting her to practise for the past few nights. Next task is Chinese compo and followed by Chinese oral :frustrated: she has absolutely no idea what compo test is.

Don't know about you ladies, but I find my daughter busier as compared to my older one when he was in P2 then. Nope, no CCA. Maybe it's the tests every 10 weeks. Really no joke. Further more, the English standard in this school has always been tougher. Dare not think of P3...already losing steam.
Since my son's weak subjects have been 'outsourced' this year (P6), I can afford to coach my gal but her moods are really hard to handle.

Sorry for the ranting...but I am feeling stressed.

I am now looking for a primary school for my daughter. She is due for P1 registration 2013. Visited the school and was told that it does not need PV. In this case, I can only prepare Phase 2c by moving within 1km. In fact, targeting the condo just oppsite.

How is the chance about getting into the school in phase 2c. If not, any chance to ask for transfer from other school?

Currently, I'm staying at Trevista and it's still within 1km of CHIJ (TPY). Will stand a very good chance but if u intend to transfer her to CHIJ from another school, it will depends on the vacancy which I doubt CHIJ (TPY) will have any vacancy ....

CHIJ doesn't take in PV prior P1 admission.
As for transfer, the wait list is long. I thought of registering her in son's school first and then transfer after that...but was advised not to. I am glad I registered her there right from start.

I am planning to move within 1km. last year, 60 girls ballot for 50 seats. Not sure about the result for this year. What are the back up plan I should make in case I can not get into CHIJ. how is the rest of school at Toa Payoh? There is a school called Kheng Cheng.

That list of 词语 is for the girls to learn the meaning...I had terrible time getting mine to remember 清道夫，斑马，近视. Until last night, she still couldnt remember certain animals and I am worried if the topic of zoo is tested, she is going to lose marks. Thank goodness, no 造句.
